What is Cash?
Cash is the normal currency. Prestige keeps it. Selling items is how leveling routes tell you to fund the next purchase. Gold Coin sells for $120. A Mysterious Arrow sells for $200. Do not sell the arrow you still need for a Requiem exchange.
