Prestige is the only way past level 35. Rin stands by the train station, near a telephone box. Bring $5,000 each time.
Caps
| Prestige | Reach this level to advance | Level cap after you are here | Skill points if you spend 2 per level |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 35 | 35 | 70 |
| 1 | 40 | 40 | 80 |
| 2 | 45 | 45 | 90 |
| 3 | 50 is the last cap | 50 | 100 |
There is no Prestige 4 in the current notes. The 100 points at Prestige 3 are shared by your body, your Stand, and your fighting style. You cannot unlock every node.
A progression guide lists experience multipliers of +20% at Prestige 1, +40% at Prestige 2, and +60% at Prestige 3. Use those as planning numbers and check the prestige screen if a patch changes them.
What resets
- Level goes back to 1.
- Spent skill points are cleared so you allocate them again.
- Story progress and unfinished quests reset. Heaven and Pucci steps that are not turned in go with them.
- The ability to buy another Requiem Arrow can require the Steel Ball Run quest again.
What stays
- Your Stand, including Requiem and evolved forms such as Tusk Act 4 or D4C: Love Train.
- Fighting style and race.
- Inventory: arrows, Rokakaka, corpse parts.
- Cosmetics and cash.
When to press the button
Prestige at the cap, with $5,000, after you have stored any quest item you were about to turn in. Do not prestige in the middle of the Crazy Diamond Requiem quest or a Heaven step you have not finished.
Prestige 1 is also the gate cited for Requiem Arrows, for Suno's Crazy Diamond evolution talk, and for several code announcements. An October 18, 2026 code walkthrough instead tells players to be Prestige 3 before redeeming. If a live code fails at Prestige 1, the announcement for that code wins over either blanket rule.
Use the prestige cash calculator if you want the remaining $5,000 steps added up before you sell your spare arrows.
